Sales Policy

I sell rabbits on a first come first serve basis.

It makes it easier for me as a small business owner, a student, and a genuinely disorganized person to keep up with.

I do not take inquiries for young rabbits until they are at least 6 weeks old.

This is because young rabbits are very fragile, they can come down with something young and fade fast. I set this policy in place to avoid having to tell a family the rabbit they reserved died.

No rabbit will leave my care until they are at least 8 weeks old.

This is the law as well as to make sure the rabbit's digestive system is mature. If a rabbit is held back its for their safety and health.

I run a CLOSED rabbitry.

This means my rabbits and housing area is closed to the public. This is to avoid any illness from being passed onto my rabbits.

From now on, a partial NONREFUNDABLE deposit for a rabbit is required.

I haven't done this in the past, but I am now putting this rule in place to avoid getting scammed or ghosted.

Once you are ready to place a hold on a rabbit, I will give you the name for the Venmo or PayPal account (Select friends and family option). Once the deposit for the rabbit is made, the rabbit will be placed as "on hold." The rest of the payment can be payed with cash, Venmo, or PayPal upon pick up.

Deposits cannot be switched to another rabbit.

A full payment is required before the rabbit is handed over to you.

"Full payment" means that the rest of the rabbit's payment and personal transport (if needed) payment needs to be payed.

I only give pedigrees to ARBA registered rabbitries and members or 4H members.

This policy is in place to avoid being scammed and the pedigrees being used unethically or copied. Pedigrees are handed out to ARBA registered (or 4H) breeders looking to better the breed.

Pick-up and transport:

If a pick-up time has not been set after a week from the time you placed a rabbit on hold, the rabbit will be put back up for sale.

I do not personally transport, but am willing to work with ground transport if the buyer gets it set up (find them on Facebook, Glory Be Bunny Transport, Hippity Hoppity Express, Olaf's Polar Express, and Wild Hops Transport are a few).

I am willing to meet certain places near me that are familiar (I will make a list below) with me for no fee, but if the areas are not listed below, I charge a small fee for milage and gas.

- Henrietta, NY            - Rush, NY

- Geneseo, NY.              - Avon, NY

- Corning, NY              - Mumford, NY

- Houghton, NY           - Rochester, NY

- Hemlock, NY.            - Honeoye, NY

- Honeoye Falls, NY   - Bloomfield, NY

- Victor, NY                 - Mendon, NY

If you do not show up for pick up, the rabbit will be re-listed.

I have the right to cancel ANY sale at ANY time.

Boarding:

If the rabbit you have placed a hold on has to stay with me for more than two weeks, are will be charging $5 for boarding. If the rabbit is scheduled for transport a month or two out, I am willing to talk about adjusting the price.

Any rabbit I sell is healthy to the best of my knowledge. I give a 24 hour health guarantee.

If your rabbit passes from health issues within the first 24 hours you purchased him/her in, I will make a partial refund for the rabbit or if I have another available rabbits (which I may not) I will offer him/her to you.

I can usually tell the gender of a rabbit, but young ones can be difficult.

It is your job upon pick up to check. If you find that your rabbit is a different once you bring him/her home I will give you an updated birth certificate (or pedigree if you received one).

Show success is not guaranteed.

I will take back any rabbit that I have sold back if for any reason that you the owner cannot keep them.
